Working within the tradition of wood furniture, I investigate relationships between materials, expectation and utility. This is done through a combination of traditional building techniques, unconventional materials, and a variety of finishes.  I create functional objects, made to be lived on and with. I want people to experience my work visually and tactilly thus engaging the user in order to create a fully immersive exploration of the senses.

Eliot Ross Brady Campbell grew up in New Jersey and currently works in Philadelphia, PA. She graduated from Yale University in 2010 with a BA in Studio Art, focusing on film photography. After working as a graphic designer for three years, she decided to return to physically creating objects and leave the digital behind. Thus, she moved to Philadelphia to attend the University of the Arts where she obtained a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Crafts with a focus in wood in 2016.
